Good food, nice atmosphere, but the greatest part is the cute hostess at the front--not sure what her name is, but she certainly deserves the job.

We come here when we have a family dinner with my parents. Food is always good. Service is always excellent, everyone who works there are always nice & kind. I don't recall when service was bad. I look forward to the frijoles negros my favorite so i get the vegetarian plate. The vibe of the place is so positive it's a family environment. I give it a 5 out of 5.

It has been at least 15 years since I last stepped foot in Versailles on Venice Blvd in Culver City. I know I loved the place and can't for the life of me figure out why I haven't been back but I went back this week. The chicken the chicken the chicken. Honestly , the cone with ( black beans , white rice ) are fine but for me it's all about that lemony garlicky chicken. We also ordered salads and a schnitzel which is called something other than schnitzel were sub par but that's ok by me because I'm going back for the chicken ! One chicken entree is enough for 2 so plan accordingly. It's comprised of a half chicken that's been marinated and grilled and served in a shallow pool of yum and topped with mild white onions. Fried plantains are also on the plate and are the perfect sweet when you need a little rest from the savory. bites . Go to Versailles. I gave this a 4 star because salad is important to me and the green salad while fresh is a bit lame but it's not about the salad. Go to Versailles and get the chicken. That is all!

This place is the Bomb! Hands down. Good themes , service , never been disappointed! Since I started going there the prices have probably but hey I've been going there 25 years at least! Owners are no longer visible but I love them. I understand by way of one of the waiter we lost the dad, who started the place he was a treasure, and what a sense of humor! You decide which is better the chicken or the pork! Can not go wrong either way! One last thing now that I'm in San Diego, I get mine most to go and they don't provide in my opinion enough rice (moros) for me always!

Service was a bit curt today, but the food delivered as per usual! It was pretty busy since they closed off Venice for bikers and pedestrians so everyone was at Versailles. There was a line for the bathroom LOL. Got to try the oxtail stew which was super beefy and rich in flavor. Favorite dish is still the lechon asado. Pro tip: ask for a side of the garlic sauce with onions to enhance any dish you get!

Super delicious, I will continue to drive an hour for this delicious food. If you have a significant other make sure they eat this delicious garlicky food too lol because it's garlicky yumm!! We tried the garlic chicken and chicken fillet yum yummy. Staff were fine no issues with their customers service. Music is fine, not too loud, just fine. There's plenty of seating inside and out side, parking on site. Check them out

7A for the past 25 years!!!! It used to be $7.50 and the line used to be out of the door and we were waiting with dizaine of families. It's more upscale now and of course things got more expensive but it still taste the same. Some of the waiters have been there for so many years, it's nice to see familiar faces.

Haven't been to Versailles longer than I can count, but I've always had a fond memory of this original location. I'm glad they're still open and they did not disappoint. The place is simple and rustic. There's ample space so it doesn't feel crowded. Servers are friendly and attentive. We ordered Tamales stuffed with pork, which was very good and Yuca Frita - which was a bit dry for me. I had their Lechon Asado, which our server recommended as their specialty, a Cuban style roasted pork and my friend ordered Rabo Encendido - Oxtail Stew - which for me, was better than the roasted pork. All in all good food. Easy parking right in front of the restaurant.
